Hi Alistair

I was cleaning out my inbox and found your email! I have been meaning to write to thank you for the advice you gave me last year when I was planning our trip to Milford and Te Anau! So thank you!

We had the most fantastic time in Milford, I am still raving about it to my friends and recommending that people stay over in Te Anau, like we did. We got up early (really early, like you said) and drove to Milford stopping on the way at the mirror lakes (amazing!). We LOVED the cruise and on the way back we stopped just after the Homer Tunnel and checked out the mountain, we stopped at the rapids (as you suggested) and were able to drive back to Te Anau with very little traffic.

Please keep recomending this trip to everyone, it really is a must do in NZ.
