Milford Sound averages SEVEN meters of rain per year, wow thats a
whole lot of water.
Its not that it rains every day it's just when it rains it rains hard. The water rushes down the
side of the mountains very quickly, into the fiord and out to sea.

One of the best short walks on the Milford Road (Turn off at the Hollyford Road and look for the
sign on the left about two or three Km down the road.
